USGIF Selects GEOINT 2016 Golden Ticket Winners

USGIF chose 26 individuals for its Young Professionals Golden Ticket Program. This program is an exclusive opportunity for young professionals—35-years-old and under or with five or less years of experience in the GEOINT Community—to receive complimentary GEOINT Foreword and GEOINT 2016 Symposium registration. Selected individuals will benefit from activities such as a networking receptions, a mentoring luncheon, special exhibit hall briefings, and an invitation to USGIF’s Chairman’s Reception.

Due This Week: GEOINT 2016 Lightning Talks

The USGIF Emerging Technologies Subcommittee (ETS) encourages you to submit a proposal to present a lightning talk on Sunday, May 15, at GEOINT Foreword, the pre-symposium science and technology-focused forum that prefaces the GEOINT 2016 Symposium. These emerging technology presentations will share information about contemporary innovations and visions for the future that are shaping how our community uses geospatial intelligence.

Presentation opportunities are available only to USGIF Organizational Members or USGIF Individual Members. Lightning Talks are limited to seven minutes each and will be presented on the main GEOINT Foreword stage during the 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. lunch break.

USGIF is accepting applications and nominations for the GEOINT 2016 Symposium Young Professionals Golden Ticket Program. The Foundation will select up to 25 individuals to participate in this exclusive opportunity, which includes complimentary GEOINT Foreword and GEOINT Symposium registration as well as activities such as a mentoring luncheon, special exhibit hall briefings, and an invitation to the exclusive USGIF Chairman’s Reception.

This opportunity is open to those 35-years-old and under or with five or less years of experience in the GEOINT Community. Applicants must agree to fully participate in all program activities. Apply by Feb. 29 at 5 p.m. EST.

GEOINT 2016 Housing Now Available

Feb. 23 Update: For non-government attendees, the Gaylord Palms has a few rooms left for May 15 and 16, while May 17 and 18 are SOLD OUT. For government attendees, there are still rooms available all nights at the Gaylord Palms. The Caribe Royale is still accepting reservations for all nights for government and non-government attendees.

Housing for GEOINT 2016 is now open with hotel rooms available at the headquarter hotel Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center as well as a limited number of rooms at the Caribe Royale Orlando, just minutes away from the Gaylord Palms.

Both hotels are expected to sell out quickly.
