Conduct Training at GEOINT 2016

Apply to present training and education sessions at the GEOINT 2016 Symposium. USGIF encourages Members, Working Groups, and Accredited programs to submit your proposals to conduct training. Additionally, Government and Industry have asked for these high priority topics to be covered, and USGIF is providing this list for prospective trainers to create high-value sessions:

  • ABI
  • Acquisition Professionalization
  • Critical Thinking: Within a scenario-based construct
  • Data Sciences
  • Gaming Theory
  • Global GEOINT in action
  • Human security
  • Lessons learned from real-world national or homeland security GEOINT examples
  • Open Source data fusion success stories
  • SOM: Data Conditioning

The purpose of the training sessions is to have geospatial intelligence subject matter experts provide professional development courses that teach how to understand and analyze new concepts. Attendees will also have the option to earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) for qualified sessions.

To apply to present training, submit a proposed course outline to by Friday, Nov. 20. Outlines should include course title, description, clearly stated learning objectives, instructor biography, and POC information.
